How do we use your e-mail address

You may opt out of receiving the offers and/or other e-mail notifications from N Banka d.d. and associated companies at any time. Regardless of your declaration with which you opt out of receiving the offers and/or other e-mail notifications from N Banka d.d. and associated companies, we will keep sending you notifications on the changes and amendments of General Terms and Conditions, tariffs, interest rates or other contractual conditions for those services that constitute an ongoing contractual relationship between yourself and N Banka d.d. or its associated company.
In order to make our e-mailed offers suit your preferences as much as possible, we may use the information you have provided us with during your first transaction with us, in opinion polls, and the information we possess because your are a registered user of the online portal, as well as outsourced information, such as data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
These e-mail messages may contain graphics of the "Clear GIF" or "Web Beacon" type that allow us to measure the success rate of the offer, based on which we will be able to improve our offer. We never use "Clear GIF" or "Web Beacon" type graphics to collect personal data.
You may also receive e-mail offers for services provided by N Banka d.d. and associated companies from other companies, if you requested that the said company send you the offers of its partners and/or advertisers. Sberbank and associated companies do not forward your personal data to these companies. If you no longer wish to receive offers from other companies sent on our behalf, you should act according to the instructions of the company in question.

Cookies regulations

In order to optimise a website in terms of systemic efficiency, usefulness and provision of useful information on N Banka d.d., N Banka d.d. automatically stores and collects data in your computer’s log files. This data includes the user’s IP address, browser type and language settings, operating system, Internet service provider (ISP) and date/time of visit.
N Banka d.d. uses this data for efficient management of its websites, to learn more about user behaviour across entire webpages, to analyse trends and to collect demographic data on its users in a comprehensive manner. The data thus collected may be used for marketing and advertising services and for communication (for instance, for the optimisation of user experiences, ensuring more attractive offers and services).
In the case of data that is not personal data but is stored together with personal data, such data will be considered and processed as personal data as long as its kept together.
The declaration on the protection of personal data from these Terms and Conditions also applies to data collected via cookies and other comparable technologies.

What is “a cookie”?

Websites, e-mail messages, inline services, advertising and interactive applications may use the so-calld cookies in order to optimise their services.
A cookie is a small file, usually consisting of a letter/number sequence loaded onto the user’s terminal device (computer, mobile device and the like; in these Terms and Conditions, they are jointly referred to as “computer”), when the user visits the N Banka d.d. website (from its web server, N Banka d.d. sends them into the browser cookie file on the user computer’s storage drive). For instance, it enables the N Banka d.d. website to recognise the user’s devices when the connection between the web server and web browser is established. The main purpose of a cookie is to enable the web server to present to the user adjusted websites, so that a visit to the Sberbank website is a more personal experience and that it adjusts better to the user’s individual needs. Monitoring and analytics

N Banka d.d. uses analytical software on its websites in order to constantly optimise its marketing communication. This software is Google Analytics provided by Google Inc., and it uses cookies to analyse traffic (counting visitors, identifying browsers and keywords linking to the site, navigation problems). Since the use or installation of these cookies require the user’s approval, N Banka d.d. will obtain it before using them or loading them onto the reader’s device (computer).
This makes it possible to monitor online behaviour; at the collection stage, the cookies gather information related to the users’ way of using the website, which includes the number of displayed pages, where the user’s location, time of visit and number of visits, all of which are intended to improve the website and guarantee good user experience. This data is collected via first-party cookies. The data obtained via cookies is anonymous and is not linked to personal data. N Banka d.d. does not share this data with any third parties to be used independently. If a user refuses to accept cookies, no data is stored at all.

For these purposes, N Banka d.d. uses the following cookie types; own session cookies and cookies to count site visitor numbers; the cookies are only stored for the amount of time required to fulfil their purpose or, at the longest, for the duration of a browsing session and are automatically deleted when it expires.

Enabling and disabling cookies and similar technologies

N Banka d.d. users have the possibility to accept or refuse all cookies on all visited websites, whereby one must take into account that most browsers accept cookies automatically; or to block their use by changing the browser settings. For instance, if a user browses with the Internet Explorer 8.0, the following steps must be taken: 1. Select Tools and then Internet options, 2. Click the Privacy tab, 3. Use the slider to select the desired setting. These procedures differ from one browser to another, therefore the instructions for each browser must be followed to disable/delete cookies. That said, if cookies are disabled, some functions of websites will no longer be available or will not function properly.
